Can I install this if my system uses Glycol?
Absolutely. This kit is designed to work perfectly with a Glycol Make-up Package (GMP). However, if you have a glycol system, ask our experts about the #BH72 braided hose for the cleanest installation.
Why do I need a wall bracket? My old tank just hung from the pipe.
Expansion tanks are heavy when full of water. Hanging them directly from copper pipes can cause joints to stress, leak, or snap over time—especially with the vibration of high-efficiency wall-mounted boiler pumps. The Calefactio bracket transfers that weight to the wall, ensuring a safer installation.
