The AIRMAX MAXAIR(e) series combines high-velocity air distribution with hydronic heating and optional direct expansion cooling to provide year-round comfort in a compact package. Each unit utilizes an Electronically Commutated Motor (ECM) that automatically maintains consistent airflow while consuming significantly less electricity than conventional PSC motors. Continuous low-energy circulation helps reduce temperature swings, improves indoor air quality, and provides more even comfort throughout the home.
The compact cabinet allows installation in attics, closets, crawlspaces, utility rooms, and other confined spaces where traditional ducted air handlers are impractical. Flexible insulated mini-ducts simplify routing through existing structures, making the system particularly well suited for retrofit projects and custom homes.
Proper installation requires professional sizing of both the hydronic heating coil and air distribution system to match the home's heating and cooling requirements. System performance depends on correct airflow, outlet sizing, water flow rates, and equipment selection. The MAXAIR(e) series is designed for integration with boilers, heat pumps, and compatible hydronic heating equipment, while selected models support DX cooling capacities from 1 to 3 tons.
