The Navien NFC-250/200H combines space heating and domestic hot water in one high-capacity condensing appliance. It delivers up to 199,900 BTU/h of heating input, up to 210,000 BTU/h of DHW input, and 95% AFUE, making it a high-output option for homes requiring substantial heating and hot-water performance. The unit uses a patented stainless steel fire tube heat exchanger and a separate stainless steel DHW heat exchanger.
Installation requires careful consideration of the existing hydronic system, gas supply, electrical service, venting, combustion air, condensate drainage and domestic-water connections. The NFC-250/200H is an indoor wall-hung appliance with forced-draft direct venting. Navien permits 2" or 3" approved venting materials, with 2" venting up to 65 feet and 3" venting up to 150 feet under the applicable installation requirements. The unit also provides 1/2" gas-pipe capability for runs up to 24 feet, subject to local code and installation conditions.
The system operates from a 120V AC, 60Hz electrical supply and includes an integrated boiler pump, built-in controls for up to three zone pumps or zone valves, and an advanced user interface with Setup Wizard.
